PondKeeper filters are quality units sold at affordable prices.  These filters use a unique media which is designed with protective surfaces for beneficial bacteria to flourish, even during backwashing.  Unlike other economy filters on the market, the PondKeeper comes with a low-profile 1-hp air blower used as part of the backwash process.  This allows for less water use during backwash, and a shorter amount of time to finish the task.
