Hakko Linear Air Pump

Industrial-grade linear diaphragm air pumps — oil-free, quiet and rebuildable. The backbone of pond and lake aeration, driving diffusers that oxygenate the whole water column for healthier fish and cleaner water.

Oxygen first

Oxygen is the #1 limiting factor for pond health. Bottom aeration circulates and oxygenates from the floor up.

Quiet & efficient

Low-wattage linear motors run cool and quiet, 24/7, for years.

Rebuildable

Diaphragms and magnets are replaceable — refresh the pump instead of replacing it.

Install it right

Mount the pump at least 2 inches above water level in a dry, ventilated spot — a flooded pump voids the warranty (don't rely on a check valve alone). Pair with weighted hose and a self-weighted diffuser, or buy the matched MEA Pro kit.

Which Hakko fits my pond?

Tell us your pond size and depth and we'll match a pump, how many diffusers it can run, and the right hose — our recommendation, not the maker's fine print.

Your pond

Mystic Koi's recommendation. These are our general guidelines to help you choose. Every pond is different — aeration needs vary with depth, fish load, temperature and layout, so treat these as a starting point, not a guarantee. Want us to dial it in? Call (909) 920-3767 and we'll help.
