Every rebuild and service part for Matala Hakko linear air pumps
Diaphragms and magnets (the two wear items), washable filter pads, gaskets, vibration mounts, power cords, the HK-100/120 safety switch and the wall stands Matala recommends. Part descriptions name the pump models they fit; the “part no.” matches the exploded diagram in the Hakko manual.

Mystic Koi’s take
Rebuild order: filter pad every season, diaphragm kit every 2–3 years, magnet only if the pump has been run flooded or the diaphragm tore and let the arm strike the housing. Note the HK-150L, 200L and 250L take two magnets per set.

Questions we get about the Hakko parts
Why mount the pump above water?
If power fails, water can siphon back up the airline into a pump that sits below water level and flood it — which voids the warranty. Use the stand or a wall bracket at least 2" above the pond surface.
Diaphragm or magnet?
Low output with normal sound = diaphragm. Loud knocking or no output = check the magnet/arm.
