WHAT MAKES OUR GROW-OUT COMPETITION UNIQUE?
Imagine taking home certified jumbo tosai from top Japanese breeders: Taniguchi, Beppu, and Omosako. Your mission? Grow your koi, feed them well, and care for them like a true koi enthusiast!
HOW DOES THE COMPETITION WORK?
After a year of dedication, the breeders will fly in from Japan to judge the koi. You'll bring your hard work back to Mystic Koi, where they will be judged head-to-head with other competitors to see who has done the best job "growing-out" their koi. While it is a serious learning experience, at Mystic Koi, it's all about celebrating your passion and having a blast with fellow hobbyists.
THE RAFFLE SYSTEM
We've done our best to make this event as user-friendly as possible. Heck, you don’t even have to be here in attendance to get the koi you want!
• Click here to view the tosai and see what catches your eye. Even better, come down and see the koi in person! If you are not able to attend in person, it is ideal to be prepared with a list of koi picks. 
• Decide how many koi you want. Because this is a raffle system, your name will go into the raffle drawing for as many koi as you would like to take home. If you want 2 grow-out koi, your name will go in twice. If you want 4 koi, your name will go in 4 times, etc.
For example: You want 3 grow-out koi and pre-paid for the 3 (refundable) raffle tickets. If you can’t make it to the event in person, you'll submit a list of at least 3 koi in order of your preference. It is recommended that you provide a list of more koi for a better chance that you can participate in the event. Everyone who participates will have a guaranteed first round pick. After the first round is over, we will add everyone else's name to the remaining draw. 
• After lunch, we begin drawing names.  For those in attendance, you will have 5 minutes to select a koi (which is why having a list prepared is helpful!)
If you are not here, Mystic Koi staff will use your list to pick your first available choice. If your name is drawn, but none of your submitted koi are available, you can choose to either take an available koi OR obtain a full refund.
