GC Tek X2 · formerly the Medusa · 6.0 and 10.0 cu ft
Two pumps, one filter, no restriction
The X2 doubles everything — two inlets, two outlets, doubled internals — so two energy-efficient pumps can feed one tank. Filter a 20,000–30,000 gallon pond on a total of about 5 amps. GC Tek redesigned the popular Medusa with the same low-restriction internals as the regular AlphaONE and AquaBead, gave it two sizes and several valve options, and renamed it.
Everything doubled
Two 2" inlets, two 2" outlets. Neither pump path ever narrows below 2", so you get the flow of two filters for well under the price of two.
Bottom drain + skimmer
Run one pump off the bottom drain and one off the skimmer, each on its own circuit, and balance them independently.
Standard, LH or Classic
Standard uses one multiport plus a set of 2"/2.5" two-way valves; LH bypasses the multiport for the lowest restriction of any X2; Classic keeps a full multiport on each side.
Same GC Tek hardware
Omnifuser internals, 2 HP media agitator, ALISS valve, clear lid, fiberglass tank with limited lifetime warranty.

Ordering & delivery
How long until it ships?
Most GC Tek filters and systems are assembled to order in Chandler, Oklahoma. Typical lead time is about 3 weeks from order to ship, then transit time. Parts and media we stock ship from Upland, CA within a day or two.
Why no freight at checkout?
Freight for a pressure filter or pre-plumbed system depends on your address, liftgate needs and residential vs. commercial delivery. Charging a flat guess would overcharge some customers and undercharge others, so we quote it to the dollar and confirm with you before shipping.
Can I pick it up instead?
Yes — pick up free at Mystic Koi & Water Gardens in Upland, CA. Choose local pickup at checkout or tell us in the order notes and we'll skip freight entirely.
Who handles the warranty?
We do. As an authorized GC Tek dealer we process warranty and parts through the factory for you — no shipping the tank back across the country.
