Stop guessing your turnover rate
Every sizing rule on this site — one turnover per hour, gallons per hour through the UV, gallons per minute into the filter — assumes you know your actual flow. Head loss, a dirty filter and a throttled valve mean the number on the pump box is never the number in the pipe. This paddle-wheel meter reads live GPM or LPM and keeps a running total, so you can see exactly what the pond is turning over and watch the flow drop as the filter loads up (a genuinely useful backwash cue). Ships with an extra set of Schedule 40 unions so you can swap them if needed.
