Matala Power Cyclone — the non-stop pond vacuum with its own discharge pump
Two motors: a 1,200 W vacuum pulls muck into a 13-gal tank with a zippered pre-filter bag, while a 700 W internal pump pushes the dirty water out through 33 ft of discharge hose at up to 3,700 GPH — to the garden, the sewer, or uphill. No fill-and-drain cycle, so you vacuum until the pond is clean.

Mystic Koi’s take
If you clean a koi pond over about 3,000 gal more than a couple of times a season, this pays for itself in saved weekends. The pre-filter bag catches leaves and gravel so the discharge pump never sees them — empty it as you go.

Questions we get about the Power Cyclone
How far uphill can it discharge?
The 700 W pump handles a normal yard grade through the 33 ft hose; for long steep runs shorten the hose or add a sump.
Will it pick up gravel?
Small gravel yes — it collects in the net bag. Use the squeegee head on gravel bottoms.
