Heat the pond, not the shed

Heavy 316 stainless inline heaters with a flow switch standard for safety and an electronic thermostat with digital readout for precise control. Plumb in one 2" union and out the other — flow in, flow out, that's the install. The classic tool for the KHV heat protocol, for holding quarantine tanks at temperature, and for keeping a heated show pond feeding through winter. New black cabinet styling across the line; all models now have the digital LED readout.

Sizing is climate-dependent. The gallon guide assumes a covered or well-insulated pond holding a modest rise over ambient. Southern California winters are kind; a 5.5 kW unit will hold a covered 5,000-gal koi pond comfortably. Call us with your pond volume, cover situation and target temperature and we'll size it. 230 V models need a dedicated circuit — plan for an electrician.

How long until it ships?

Most GC Tek filters and systems are assembled to order in Chandler, Oklahoma. Typical lead time is about 3 weeks from order to ship, then transit time. Parts and media we stock ship from Upland, CA within a day or two.

Is there extra shipping?

This item is oversize for standard UPS rates. We'll confirm the exact shipping before it goes out.

Can I pick it up instead?

Yes — pick up free at Mystic Koi & Water Gardens in Upland, CA. Choose local pickup at checkout or tell us in the order notes and we'll skip freight entirely.

Who handles the warranty?
