The Japanese way to grow big, clean koi — built in Oklahoma
A bakki shower trickles water over tiers of media in open air: massive gas exchange, super-oxygenated biology, and a natural stripping of the nitrogen and dissolved organics that pressure filters can't touch. It's how the Niigata breeders keep their mud-pond water. The Wakimizu has a top drip tray with overflow for even distribution, a media support on the bottom tier so flow stays even across every opening, and multiple inlet/outlet unions on the back top tier to hide the pipework. Choose a waterfall outlet or plumbed pipe-fitting outlets, in polypropylene or 316 stainless.

Media sits above the outlets so the last tier flows as evenly as the first.
Hidden plumbing
Multiple inlet/outlet unions on the back of the top tier. 60 and 80 are 3"; 15–40 are 2".

How long until it ships?
Most GC Tek filters and systems are assembled to order in Chandler, Oklahoma. Typical lead time is about 3 weeks from order to ship, then transit time. Parts and media we stock ship from Upland, CA within a day or two.
Why no freight at checkout?
Freight for a pressure filter or pre-plumbed system depends on your address, liftgate needs and residential vs. commercial delivery. Charging a flat guess would overcharge some customers and undercharge others, so we quote it to the dollar and confirm with you before shipping.
Can I pick it up instead?
Yes — pick up free at Mystic Koi & Water Gardens in Upland, CA. Choose local pickup at checkout or tell us in the order notes and we'll skip freight entirely.
Who handles the warranty?
We do. As an authorized GC Tek dealer we process warranty and parts through the factory for you — no shipping the tank back across the country.
