How the Raffle Works
We've made it as easy as possible β you don't even have to attend to get the koi you want.
Build your list
Browse the koi and add your favorites. List more koi than you plan to take β it improves your odds if your top picks get drawn by someone else.
Reserve your koi
Decide how many koi you want and pre-pay for that many (fully refundable). Each koi is one entry β want 3 koi, your name goes in 3 times.
Paste your ranked list
Copy your ranked list and paste it into the order notes at checkout, so we know your preferences if you can't make it.
Draw day
Here in person? You get 5 minutes to pick when your name is drawn. Can't attend? We pick your first available koi from your list.
Everyone gets a guaranteed first-round pick
This year every participant is guaranteed a pick in round one. After round one, all remaining names go back into the draw. If your name is drawn and none of your listed koi are left, you can take another available koi or get a full refund. We start the drawing early β no waiting around.
Good to Know
How much does it cost?
Each koi is $XXX, and it's fully refundable. You pre-pay for as many koi as you want to enter for.
Do I have to attend?
No. If you can't make it, just submit your ranked list of koi β when your name is drawn we'll fill your first available choice. Being prepared with a good list is the key either way.
How does the raffle work?
Your name goes into the draw once for every koi you reserve β want 2 koi, your name's in twice; want 4, it's in four times. Everyone is guaranteed a first-round pick; remaining names go back in for later rounds.
What if all my picks are gone when my name is drawn?
You can either take another available koi or get a full refund β no obligation. That's why we recommend listing more koi than you plan to take.
